Roach is a lovely 5-year-old gelding, standing at approximately 16-16.1hh, who never raced and has previously enjoyed life in a private home.

Roach is a really affectionate horse with a wonderful personality, he is described as being a bit like a big puppy and loves attention and being around people. He is proving to be a lovely character to have around the yard and has settled into life at SB really well.
He has already had experience both on the ground and ridden, working nicely in both areas. Roach has also popped a few small jumps and is showing that he is willing to have a go and learn. One of his favourite things is hacking, and he is happy to go out both alone and in company. He enjoys getting out and about and is proving to be a nice, enjoyable horse to take out and explore with.
Roach is also good at the mounting block, which is always a lovely quality to have, and he is continuing to settle and build confidence in his new surroundings.
Roach does not have any vices, however he has a plate in his front leg which is why he never raced - full medical records can be shared with interested potential owners. It has never caused him any issues in his riding and he is sound.
We feel Roach has plenty of potential to make a lovely all-round ridden horse. He has a nice foundation of experience already and would suit someone looking for a horse they can continue to produce, have fun with and develop a partnership with.
Viewings are actively encouraged and we would love for people to come and meet Roach.
