Rehoming with SB

Welcoming an ex-racehorse into your life is a truly special journey.

At SB, we take great care to match each horse with a kind, knowledgeable home where they’ll be understood, supported, and given the chance to thrive. Whether you’re looking for a future competition prospect, a fun all-rounder, or a trusted hacking partner, our horses are prepared with patience and kindness so they can begin their second careers with confidence.

We offer viewings by appointment, giving you time to meet the horses, ask questions and find the right partnership. All horses are fully vetted, and we support you throughout the entire rehoming process.

We do have available horses on our website, but they are updated weekly. For the most accurate and up-to-date list, please visit our Facebook page. If you see a horse you’re interested in, the best way to enquire is to complete our contact form with the horse’s name or contact Sharon Blake directly via WhatsApp or phone.

Our Facebook page is updated daily with horses settling into new routines, and those ready to view. If you’d like help finding the right match, please reach out - we’re always happy to guide you.

  • Yes - we are lucky enough to always have horses available. We do have an Available Horses page on our website, but because horses arrive and find homes regularly, it is updated weekly. For the most up-to-date listings, please check our Facebook page. If you see a horse you’re interested in, please contact us or fill in our enquiry form (and be sure to mention the horse’s name!).

  • Absolutely. Viewings are welcome by appointment so we can ensure the right horse is available for you to meet and that a team member is on hand to support you. Please get in touch to arrange a suitable time and we will be happy to help.

  • Yes. All horses undergo a veterinary assessment, and we are transparent about any veterinary history or needs. You are welcome to arrange your own independent vetting as well - we want you to feel confident and supported in your decision.

  • If you see a horse you like on our Facebook page, the easiest way is to find their page on Available Horses & complete our contact form with their name, or contact Sharon directly via WhatsApp or phone. If the horse is not on our website yet - still complete a form with their name. We will then take a few details about you, your experience and your setup, and guide you through the rehoming process to help find the right match.
