Founded by Sharon Blake and based in the beautiful South West of England, we are a family-run yard dedicated to the careful retraining, rehabilitation and rehoming of racehorses from all walks of life.
What began with helping place a handful of horses from one yard (Sharon’s Husband, Michael Blake Racing) soon grew into a trusted and recognised service, now supporting trainers, owners and private homes from across the country.
Our mission is simple: to give every horse the time, understanding and care they deserve as they transition into a new chapter.

Millie is our lovely 20-year-old mare standing at 16.1hh, and you truly wouldn’t believe her age.
She is 100% sound with no known injuries or vices, and is happy, comfortable, and moving well. Millie has a kind, genuine nature and beautiful manners, making her a pleasure to have around both in and out of the stable.
Having previously been a mum, Millie is now ready to enjoy some well-deserved time for herself. She brings a calm, reassuring presence and is a real confidence giver, offering a safe and enjoyable ride for someone looking to build a partnership and simply enjoy their time in the saddle.

Cory/Cornelius is a 16.2hh, 14-year-old gelding who really is a smashing horse with a lovely presence and a kind, genuine nature. He has been there and got the T-shirt, making him a great all-rounder type for someone looking for a versatile and enjoyable partner.
Cory has stacks of ability and is a true gentleman to have around. He is a lovely ride and hacks out happily both alone and in company, taking everything in his stride. He enjoys being part of a busy yard environment and thrives when living in a gelding herd.
Cory successfully underwent kissing spine surgery in 2022 and has recovered well, now back in work and enjoying life.
He would suit a home looking for a kind, capable all-rounder to enjoy and build a partnership with - his happiness is the most important thing.

Joey [on the left] is a chunky 16hh gelding who has settled in very well and is a genuine pleasure to have on the yard. He is a kind, affectionate horse who loves a fuss and is easy to manage in all aspects of his daily routine.
He is being ridden by our team and is proving to be a lovely, straightforward ride. Joey hacks happily both alone and in company and is also schooling nicely, taking everything in his stride with a willing attitude to work. He has a lovely nature and is an enjoyable horse to have around.

Mandy is a 4-year-old mare standing at 16hh who has been with us for some time and is a much-loved member of the yard.

Knowout Blow is an 11 year-old gelding standing at 16hh who has settled in well and is a lovely horse to have around the yard. He has a kind nature, and attitude, and is easy to manage in all aspects of his daily routine.
He is being ridden by our team and is proving to be a straightforward and enjoyable ride, taking everything in his stride as he continues his retraining away from racing. Knowout Blow has a willing attitude to work and is enjoying learning his new job, he loves hacking too!
We are continuing to get a clearer picture of his strengths and the type of home he will be best suited to, but he is already showing himself to be a genuine and likeable horse.

Fairy is a beautiful 8-year-old mare standing at approximately 15.3hh, with the sweetest nature and a lovely attitude.
She is kind, gentle, and easy to handle, making her a pleasure to have around the yard. Since arriving with us, Fairy has settled brilliantly and has shown herself to be a calm, willing mare who enjoys her work.
Fairy has been ridden both in the school and out hacking, taking everything in her stride and proving to be sensible and straightforward. With her size, temperament, and easy-going nature, she would make a lovely partner for someone looking to continue producing and enjoying a kind young horse.
