Reuben is a striking 7-year-old, 15,3hh gelding who has made excellent progress since arriving with us. Previously entire, he was gelded in September, and the procedure went smoothly. Over the past few weeks he has adapted remarkably well to his new lifestyle, and we’re very pleased with how quickly he has settled.
When Reuben first arrived, he had limited social experience and initially struggled with the activity of a busy yard. With patient handling and careful management, he has now integrated successfully into the herd. He enjoys turnout alongside other horses and has adapted confidently to a normal routine, including mares being stabled adjacent to him.
Reuben has begun ridden work and is proving to be a lovely horse to ride. He is great under saddle, and is taking to hacking and general riding-horse activities with no issues.
With his good temperament and strong build, Reuben would suit a capable rider looking for a quality horse to enjoy hacking and fun rides. He has come a long way in a short time and is now ready to continue his journey in a kind, knowledgeable home.
