Duveen (racing name Duveen) is a 6 year-old mare standing at 16.1hh who has recently arrived at SB and is beginning the next chapter of her life.
Duveen has only been with us a short time, so we are giving her the opportunity to settle into life at SB. From what we have seen so far, she is a lovely mare with a kind temperament who has settled in well.
She has been described by her previous owners as a kind, affectionate mare who isn't mareish, even when in season. They tell us she is happiest with plenty of forage and friends, and once she trusts you, she is just like a big Labrador. She has also been described as travelling well, being good for the vet, farrier and dentist, and taking traffic in her stride.
