Dinkie (racing name Straits of Moyle) is a lovely 7-year-old gelding, standing at approximately 15hh. He is a lovely chestnut who has already enjoyed plenty of life away from racing and is now looking for his forever home.
Dinkie retired from racing and went to a private home, where he enjoyed some hunting. He was then purchased as a Mother/Daughter share and enjoyed lots of lovely hacking together. Dinkie has been described as excellent to hack alone and has proven himself to be brilliant in traffic. He has also previously been introduced to hunting, schooling and jumping, although these are areas we will continue to assess as we get to know him.
Dinkie has no known injuries, although we have been informed that he does crib.
We will continue to add photos and videos to Dinkie's profile as we spend more time with him and get a better idea of his abilities.
Dinkie has already experienced a lovely variety of life away from racing and could be a lovely prospect for someone looking for a genuine horse to enjoy hacking and potentially develop further.
