Dessie (racing name Desert Glory) is a stunning 7-year-old gelding standing at approximately 16.3hh/17hh.

Dessie last raced in 2023 and has taken well to life after racing. He was professionally restarted by Jason Webb in December and has continued to progress well since.

He is a striking horse with a lovely personality and is a pleasure to have around the yard. He's settled well into his new routine and has shown a willing attitude towards everything we've asked of him. Dessie loves his hacking. Dessie has no known health issues, is sound and comfortable in his work, and is good to handle.

We think Dessie would be happiest in a home where he can enjoy plenty of hacking and a varied routine. He enjoys getting out and about and would suit someone looking for a genuine horse to hack, have fun with, and enjoy. He has plenty to offer the right person and will make a lovely partner.
