Meet Boris - a kind and genuine 10-year-old gelding, retired from Martin Keighley’s yard, racing name Just A Deal.
Boris is a sweet horse who has been a pleasure to have with us at SB. Since arriving, we have begun his schooling, and he has proven to be a lovely, willing ride.
Boris’ previous owners have informed us that does have a little fluid on his knees, which has been fully checked by vets. No issues have been found, he has never been lame, and although they occasionally swell, this has never caused him any problems.
In his previous home, Boris enjoyed a varied life, taking part in fun rides, XC schooling, arena hires, and hacking both alone (though he is happier in company) and in open spaces. He also loads and travels well.
Boris would make a rewarding partner for someone looking for a fun, capable, and well-ridden horse with experience in a range of activities.
