Luxe - Settling In & Enjoying Life
Some horses arrive with a calm presence and a steady nature right from the start, and Luxor Flush, known as Luxe, is one of them. He joined Enya as a three year old in April last year and has since blossomed into a relaxed, kind and confident young horse who takes everything in his stride.
Since coming home, Luxe has been allowed to simply be a youngster. He has enjoyed gentle hacking, quiet time to learn slowly and lots of well deserved days spent out in the field playing with his friends. With age on his side and no need to rush, Enya has given him the gift of growing up at his own pace. With another SB horse at home, Nellie, she knows that the best foundations are built with time, patience and the right mindset.
The plan for Luxe is to do a little bit of everything as he develops, and there is no doubt he will take each step with the same calm approach that has already made him such a pleasure to have around. He has the most wonderful attitude, and it is clear that his future will be full and varied when he is ready.
Enya shared these lovely words about him:
“This is my handsome boy Luxor Flush. I have owned Luxe since April last year. I bought him as a three year old and he has just turned four. He has done some hacking but he has mainly enjoyed being young and having well deserved days playing with his buddies in the field. I am in no rush with him as I also have Nellie, my other SB horse, so I will be bringing him on slowly. I want to do a bit of everything with him and hopefully I will have updates soon of what we are getting up to. He is the most laid back and safest four year old I have ever met. He is everything SB said he would be and more.”
