Founded by Sharon Blake and based in the beautiful South West of England, we are a family-run yard dedicated to the careful retraining, rehabilitation and rehoming of racehorses from all walks of life.
What began with helping place a handful of horses from one yard (Sharon’s Husband, Michael Blake Racing) soon grew into a trusted and recognised service, now supporting trainers, owners and private homes from across the country.
Our mission is simple: to give every horse the time, understanding and care they deserve as they transition into a new chapter.

Cory (racing name Corneilous) is a 16.2hh, 14-year-old gelding who really is a smashing horse with a lovely presence and a kind, genuine nature. He has been there and got the T-shirt, making him a great all-rounder type for someone looking for a versatile and enjoyable partner.
Cory has stacks of ability and is a true gentleman to have around. He is a lovely ride and hacks out happily both alone and in company, taking everything in his stride. He enjoys being part of a busy yard environment and thrives when living in a gelding herd.
Cory successfully underwent kissing spine surgery in 2022 and has recovered well, now back in work and enjoying life.
He would suit a home looking for a kind, capable all-rounder to enjoy and build a partnership with - his happiness is the most important thing.

Mandy (racing name Keith's Star) is a beautiful 4 year-old mare standing at 15.3hh. She is a much-loved member of the SB family and has stolen the hearts of everyone who has met her with her genuine love of people.
Mandy is the sort of horse who thrives on one-to-one attention and forming a bond with her person. She absolutely loves a fuss and enjoys being part of daily life, making her a wonderful companion as well as a riding horse. She is a kind, sweet mare who genuinely enjoys human interaction and is always pleased to see you.
Under saddle, Mandy is proving to be a fantastic prospect. She is happy working in the school, where she is beginning to work nicely in an outline and shows a willing attitude to learn. She also enjoys jumping and approaches her work with enthusiasm and confidence.
One of Mandy's biggest strengths is her hacking. She hacks happily both alone and in company, is good in traffic, and has successfully completed her roadwork education. She is sensible out and about and enjoys getting out to explore, making her a lovely horse to ride and enjoy.
Mandy has no injuries and is sound and comfortable in her work. She does crib, and we are always happy to discuss this openly with interested homes.
As a young mare, Mandy still has so much potential ahead of her. Whether you're looking for a happy hacker, riding club horse, all-rounder, or a horse to continue producing and developing, we believe Mandy has all the ingredients to make someone a very special partner.
Most importantly, we absolutely adore this mare. She deserves an experienced, loving home where she will continue to receive the attention, affection and guidance she thrives on. We know the right person is out there, and we'd love to help them find each other.

Dessie (racing name Desert Glory) is a stunning 7 year-old gelding standing at 16.3/17hh, Sire: Churchill, Dam: Polygon. He is a very impressive horse with plenty of bone, fantastic conformation, and a real presence about him.
Having last raced in 2023, Dessie was professionally restarted by Jason Webb in December and has since been settling well into life away from racing. He has been given a solid foundation and is now ready for someone experienced to continue his education and produce him further.
Dessie has no health issues, is sound and comfortable, and is also RoR eligible. He is a big, powerful horse who would benefit from being in knowledgeable hands with someone confident and experienced who can continue building his education correctly.
He has plenty of potential for a variety of disciplines and would make an exciting prospect for someone looking for a quality horse to produce and enjoy. A striking gelding with a lot to offer in the right home.

Fairy (racing name Bless The Moon) is a beautiful 8-year-old mare standing at approximately 15.3hh, with the sweetest nature and a lovely attitude.
She is kind, gentle, and easy to handle, making her a pleasure to have around the yard. Since arriving with us, Fairy has settled brilliantly and has shown herself to be a calm, willing mare who enjoys her work.
Fairy has been ridden both in the school and out hacking, taking everything in her stride and proving to be sensible and straightforward. With her size, temperament, and easy-going nature, she would make a lovely partner for someone looking to continue producing and enjoying a kind young horse.
